Adena Health System in Chillicothe, OH is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) to join our Progressive Care Unit and Med Surg teams. This role offers flexible scheduling, supportive leadership, and opportunities to grow while delivering focused patient care.

You'll provide direct nursing care, collaborate with the care team and families, and contribute to care plans and patient outcomes. Shift: full-time nights, every third weekend. Ohio RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Program in Nursing.
• BSN preferred; BSN required within 5 years for new hires.
• Current Ohio RN license and BLS certification.

Position Highlights

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit
• Salary: Hourly rate based on years of nursing experience/education
• Work Life Balance: Full Time (3 shifts/week), Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) - Every third weekend required
• Patient Ratio: 1:3-4 for PCU and 1:5-6 for Med Surg
• Location/Department: Chillicothe - 2A

What You’ll Do

The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patient’s plan of care; while creating an atmosphere that supports our vision: To be our regions’ most trusted partner in healthcare. The Staff Nurse, RN as the primary care giver provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other care team members, the physician and the patient/family to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The incumbent has access to confidential patient information and makes decisions independently and in collaboration with others. The Staff Nurse, RN works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Educational Degree: Graduate of an Accredited Program in Nursing. Preferred Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Effective 9/1/2022 for all New Hires - BSN required within 5 years.

Required Certifications, Credentials and Licences: BLS, Registered Nurse with Current Ohio License
