Job summary

Dennett Rehab Center in Oakland, Maryland, is seeking an RN or LPN for short evening shifts (6:30pm-10:30pm) on our skilled nursing team. You will deliver nursing care, monitor patients, administer medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to update care plans.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, timely, and effective nursing care to residents.
• Monitor patients' health, administer medications, and provide wound care and other treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans.
• Support residents and families with education, comfort, and reassurance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards.
• Follows the plan of care as directed by the RN leadership team.
• Observe safety policies and report safety concerns.
• Demonstrate respect for resident rights and dignity.
• Supervise and support GNAs in care delivery.

Job Summary:

As a vital part of our Skilled Nursing team, you will deliver safe, timely, and effective nursing care to residents. Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, timely, and effective nursing care to residents
• Monitor patients' health, administer medications, and provide wound care and other treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
• Support residents and their families with education, comfort, and reassurance
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards
• Follows the plan of care as developed by the RN staff nurse, MDS Coordinator(s), or RN members of the Nursing leadership team
• Observes safety policies and reports any safety concerns
• Demonstrates respect of resident rights and dignity
• Fulfills the role of charge nurse when assigned
• Supervise and support Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) in the delivery of care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and HIPAA policies
• Participate in quality assurance activities and staff meetings

Requirements:

• Active LPN or RN license in Maryland
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred — new grads welcome!
