Job summary

Oakwood Care Center in Middle River, MD is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our compassionate clinical team. We offer full-time and part-time Day, Evening, and Night shifts with schedules that may vary by facility needs, and a generous sign-on bonus up to $5,000.

Earn $31.50 to $36.95 per hour with shift differentials, access to daily pay, and a robust benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement, and CEU support.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Virginia.
• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain).
• Previous LTC or SNF experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met per practice standards and orders.
• Administer medications and treatments with precision.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
• Assist with resident comfort and comfort measures.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters; provide wound care.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow all policies.
• Track and review patient history and vital signs.
• Assist in coaching staff as necessary.

What You’ll Do:

Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines

• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
• Assist with resident comfort.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters. Provide wound care.
• Keep resident patient information confidential, follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to federal, state, local requirements, and professional standards.
• Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Help coach staff as necessary.

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in Virginia
• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
• Previous LTC or SNF experience preferred.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong clinical judgment
