Oakwood Care Center in Middle River, MD is hiring LPNs for Day, Evening, and Night shifts with full‑time, part‑time and PRN options. Pay ranges from $31.50 to $36.95 per hour, plus shift differentials. A sign‑on bonus up to $5,000 and access to daily pay are offered.

Qualifications

• LPN license required and active in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per standards of practice and physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments with accuracy and compassion.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support residents' physical, emotional, and psychological well‑being.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow facility policies and state/local guidelines.
• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions and document accurately.

What You’ll Do:

Provide nursing care to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines

• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychological well-being
• Assist with resident comfort.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters. Provide wound care.
• Keep resident patient information confidential, follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to federal, state, local requirements, and professional standards.
• Collect, track, maintain, and review patient medical history, charts, and physical condition, including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Help coach staff as necessary.

Requirements:

• Current LPN license in Virginia
• CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
• Previous LTC or SNF experience preferred.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong clinical judgment
