Job summary

Harborview Health Systems in North Carolina is seeking an RN/LPN Charge Nurse to lead clinical care in a skilled nursing environment. You will deliver medications, supervise Medication Aides, monitor residents, and ensure accurate documentation.

We value compassion, teamwork, and steady decision-making as you oversee daily living activities, communicate with families and the interdisciplinary team, and uphold infection control standards. A valid RN or LPN license is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN/LPN license in good standing in the state.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated RN/LPN Charge Nurse

What You Will Do

• Deliver medications and treatments along with supervision of Medication Aides where applicable
• Monitor resident conditions and respond quickly to changes, ensuring safety, comfort, and continuity of care.
• Support activities of daily living
• Maintain clear, timely documentation
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary teams and families
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to protect your residents and your teammates.
• Other duties as assigned

What You Must Have

• Active RN/LPN license in good standing in the state of practice.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required—we’ll invest in the right heart and mindset.
