Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join Imperial, a Villa Center, in the United States. The RN will assume responsibility for a group of residents per shift, delivering care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of plans of care.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, maintaining infection control, documenting care, and coordinating with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• Nursing Degree or diploma from an accredited College or University.
• Current license to practice as an RN in the state.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with standards.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work areas and treatment spaces.
• Monitors vital signs and administers IV therapy as licensed.
• Documents care and patient responses in notes.
• Ensures safe environment and addresses hazards and risks.
• Directs non-licensed staff to meet care standards.
• Communicates with residents, families, physicians, and staff as required.
• Implements and updates care plans in coordination with the IDT.
