Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care to residents and supervise nursing staff. The RN will ensure adherence to federal, state, and local standards and oversee day-to-day nursing activities within the facility.

The role emphasizes leadership, medication administration, documentation, and collaboration with other departments to maintain a warm, calm environment and high-quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state required.
• Proficient in nursing care and patient assessment.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of federal/state/local nursing regulations.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Direct the day-to-day nursing activities and supervise nursing assistants.
• Complete required charting and documentation for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain inter-departmental rapport to ensure quality care.
• Provide leadership and accurate shift reports and rounds with physicians as needed.
• Ensure safety protocols and confidentiality of patient information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
