Job summary

Providence in Seward, Alaska is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary, full-time assignment (36 hours per week) with variable shifts. The Primary Care Nurse will supervise Shahbazim and oversee resident care for a defined group, coordinating with the clinical support team and families.

Required: graduation from an accredited nursing program, Alaska RN license on hire, and BLS certification. Preferred: 6 months of in-facility nursing experience and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Alaska RN License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resident care for a specific group of residents and supervise Shahbazim.
• Coordinate referrals to clinical support team, families and physicians.
• Serve as the point of contact for elder information.
