Providence is calling for a Registered Nurse in Seward, Alaska. We are a community of caregivers delivering everyday compassionate care that is accessible for all, especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

Hours and Schedule

Full Time (36 Hours Weekly) Variable Shift

Responsibilities

The Primary Care Nurse is in charge of resident care for a specific group of residents, supervising team members including Shahbazim. Nursing services delivered by the Shahbazim are supervised by and directly accountable to the director of nursing through the licensed nurses in the homes. The Primary Care Nurse coordinates referrals to other members of the clinical support team, families and physicians, and serves as the point of contact for elder information.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months of nursing experience in a health care facility (acute care, long term care, rehabilitation center).
• Supervision/leadership experience.

Compensation

Pay Range: $43.12 – $66.95 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Up to $15,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for eligible full‑time external hires that meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment.
