Job summary

Providence Seward Mountain Haven-Seward is seeking a Primary Care Nurse to oversee resident care for a defined group, supervising Shahbazim and licensed nurses under the director of nursing. You will coordinate referrals to the clinical team and act as the main contact for elder information.

The role requires Alaska RN licensure and BLS certification at hire, with preferred prior supervisory experience and at least 6 months in health care settings.

Qualifications

• Successful candidate must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Alaska Registered Nurse License required upon hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required upon hire.
• Preferred: 6 months nursing experience in a health care facility and supervision/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Shahbazim and nursing team under the director of nursing.
• Coordinate referrals to clinical support team, families and physicians.
• Serve as the primary contact for elder information and care coordination.
