Job summary

Description Providence is calling for Registered Nurse (RN) in Seward, Alaska . We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

Hours: Full Time (36 Hours Weekly), Temporary , Variable Shift

The Primary Care Nurse is in charge of the resident care for a specific group of residents, to include, supervision of team members including Shahbazim. Nursing services delivered by the Shahbazim are supervised by and directly accountable to the director of nursing (DNS) through the licensed nurses in the homes. The Primary Care Nurse coordinates referrals to other members of the clinical support team, families and physicians. The Primary Care Nurse serves as the point of contact for elder information.

Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire.

6 months of Nursing experience in a health care facility (acute care, long term care, rehabilitation center).
