Job summary

Good Samaritan in Lakota, ND seeks a Registered Nurse to provide individualized care using the nursing process and to collaborate with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team. You may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff while ensuring safe, high-quality care.

The role requires completion of a nationally accredited nursing program with an unencumbered RN license in the applicable state, and preference for a Bachelor’s in Nursing.

Qualifications

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA. Bachelor‘s Degree in nursing preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license where practice is occurring and/or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
Collaborate with residents, families and care team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments and education, and oversee nursing interventions.
May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
