Job summary

Hendrix Health and Rehabilitation in Alabama is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will provide direct nursing care to residents, support rehabilitation plans, and collaborate with the clinical team to maintain high standards of care in a long-term care setting.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and strong geriatric and teamwork skills. You will document care, administer medications, educate residents and families, and mentor nursing

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric and rehabilitation care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care to residents in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting.
• Assess, monitor, and document residents' health conditions and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding care plans and health conditions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Foster a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for residents.
• Supervise and mentor nursing assistants to ensure quality care delivery.
