Job summary

Genesiscareers in Scarborough, Maine, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents in our long-term care facility. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, applying clinical judgment to support both short-term recovery and long-term care.

This role offers competitive base pay of $40.00 to $47.50 per hour with shift differential, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, company-paid life insurance, 401K,

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved nursing program and licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Establish measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions to minimize rehospitalizations and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks are implemented.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.
