Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing individualized nursing care to residents through the nursing process, collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams. The RN demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing practice, cares for residents across all phases of care, and may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks appropriately. The RN functions within the standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics.

Qualifications
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, such as CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
  • Unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing, with multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
  • Maintains required competencies and certifications.
