Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. Collaborates with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Coordinates care, assesses residents, educates residents, and performs nursing interventions. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of practice. Ensures safe, reliable resident care and addresses care and service concerns. Practices within the standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and related regulations. Adheres to the American Nurses Association's Scope and Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.
Qualifications: Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred; Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred. Must hold an unencumbered RN license in the practicing state or multistate licensure if in an NLC state. Maintains required competencies and certifications.
