Job summary

The Laurels of Huber Heights is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our long-term care team in Ohio. You will plan, coordinate, and provide nursing care, education, and health services to residents, ensuring safety and compassion.

Responsibilities include supervising LPNs/CNAs, implementing care plans, administering medications, assessing residents, and communicating changes to physicians. Ohio RN licensure and CPR required; LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Ohio.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by LPNs, CNAs/STNAs and other team members.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to guests.
• Assess the health of guests and notify the physician of changes in status; promptly implement new orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.
• Select and institute appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a guest’s condition and/or prevent complications.
• Contribute to guest assessments and the development of a plan of care.
