Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Memphis seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. You will provide direct nursing care, manage ADLs, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality resident care.

You will supervise nursing assistants, ensure documentation accuracy, and contribute to care planning and regulatory compliance. A current RN license and CPR/BLS are required; long-term care experience is preferred. We offer robust benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and ensure comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during the assigned shift in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
• Monitor and observe residents’ physical and emotional status; notify physician and responsible party of changes.
• Develop, implement, and review individualized resident care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
