Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our in-house travel team. The position is a multisite assignment based in Fall River, MA, with duties in Family Centered Unit/Labor & Delivery at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

Assignements run 11-13 weeks with option to extend; shifts are 3:00pm-11:30pm, 32 hours/week. Must float to similar units as needed and meet MA RN licensure, BLS, and 1 year L&D experience requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Massachusetts RN Licensure is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Family Centered Unit/Labor & Delivery.
• Ability to float to other like-units for patient assignments.

• 11-13 Week Assignment, with option to extend for 1 additional 13 week assignment if available
• $70/hr

Position Assignment Details:

• Hours: 32hrs
• Shifts: 3:00pm-11:30pm
• Must work every other weekend and holiday, 1 weekend shift every week and every other holiday OR Every Weekend
• Area Assignment: Family Centered Unit/Labor & Delivery - Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

*This position is Multisite, may be asked to float to any Southcoast Hospital: Charlton Memorial Hospital, St. Luke's-New Bedford.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Minimum of one year of Family Centered Unit/Labor & Delivery nursing experience required.
• Competent in reading and interpreting basic telemetry strips.
• Ability to efficiently float to other like-units for patient assignments is required.
• Working knowledge and experience with PC-based applications.
• Epic experience is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
