Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in practicing state.
• CPR per AHA standards with certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work in a complex environment with multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Applies the nursing process within the framework of Relationship Based Care to create a healing environment.
• Develops daily goals and a care plan in partnership with the patient.
• Demonstrates critical thinking to address clinical, safety, psychological and social issues.
• Documents comprehensively to promote team communication.
• Participates in quality improvement and governance initiatives.
• Teaches patients, families, students and new staff as needed.
