Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update policies and procedures for nursing services.
• Ensure nursing reference materials (PDR'S, Federal and State Regulations, etc.) are current.
• Keep Nursing Service Procedures manual current and aligned with daily nursing care.
• Participate in interviewing and selecting residents for admission, including PASARR screening.
• Provide the Director with information on nursing needs and service capacity.
• Assist the Director in preparing performance evaluations.
• Schedule daily rounds to observe residents and assess nursing needs.
