Lakeland Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants in accordance with laws and facility policies. You will ensure quality care and proper documentation while coordinating with physicians and other departments.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current unencumbered state license.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws/regulations in nursing care facilities.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and supervise shift staff.
• Complete and file required patient records and orders; transcribe physician orders accurately.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
