Job summary

Lakeland Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring quality care and adherence to standards and regulations within our skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications

Must hold a current unencumbered state RN license.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
CPR certification is required; Long Term Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and supervise the shift’s services.
Complete and file admission, transfer, and discharge records; transcribe physician orders and maintain charts.
Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
Develop and maintain good working rapport with inter-departmental staff to ensure quality care.
Provide professional nursing services (e.g., assessments, wound care, dressing changes) as required.
Monitor safety and compliance with equipment use and safety regulations.
Maintain confidentiality of resident information and ensure privacy in care delivery.
Perform other duties as assigned.
