Job summary

Highland Health & Rehabilitation in Washington state seeks a full-time Resident Care Manager/Nurse Manager (RN) to oversee resident care plans and lead the Infection Preventionist program. This role combines clinical leadership with collaboration across disciplines to ensure outstanding resident outcomes and staff development.

The ideal candidate brings RN licensure, CPR, and at least one year of leadership experience in long-term care, plus knowledge of CDC/CMS infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN license and CPR certification.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory or leadership experience in healthcare.
• Knowledge of CDC and CMS infection control standards.
• Certified Infection Control (CIC) preferred; Infection Preventionist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee individualized resident care plans.
• Conduct assessments for admissions and current residents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes.
• Monitor resident conditions and document changes per best practices.
• Lead Infection Prevention and Control Program and ICP committee.
• Manage staff scheduling and ensure coverage.
