Qualifications

• Licensed LVN/RN/NP/PA with a nursing license.
• Two years’ experience in acute care; infection control or employee health preferred.
• Experience in employee health, infection control or occupational health preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited school with a degree in nursing, epidemiology, microbiology, public health or other life science related field.

Responsabilités

• Manage employee health service functions in the facility.
• Coordinate annual physical examinations, new hire clearances, and workers’ compensation issues.
• Provide emergency evaluation for work injuries and coordinate treatment with providers.
• Maintain confidential employee and administrative records; support safety rounds.
• Ensure compliance with CDC, OSHA and regulatory directives.
• Act as an education consultant for infection prevention and employee health matters.
• Respond to potential exposures by communicating with staff and regulators.
