Spring Meadows Health & Rehab in Clarksville, TN is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations of a skilled nursing facility. This role ensures high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and efficient day-to-day nursing operations.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered TN RN license.
• 2–3 years of nursing leadership experience in SNF/long-term care.
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and best practices.
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating nursing services.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (CMS, state survey requirements).
• Support staffing operations, including scheduling, onboarding, orientation, and performance management.
• Provide clinical oversight and guidance to nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs).
• Participate in QA/PI initiatives and infection prevention programs.
• Monitor documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Address resident and family concerns related to nursing care.
• Support survey preparation and plan of correction implementation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive resident care.
• Act as acting Director of Nursing in the DON’s absence as needed.
