Job summary

Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse for our PreOP/PACU team. The role directs and provides perianesthesia nursing care for patients across the age continuum and utilizes the nursing process to plan and evaluate care.

Requirements include nursing degree, Arizona RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS within 90 days. Competitive hourly pay with flexible scheduling (4–10 hour shifts), comprehensive benefits, PTO, holidays, and retirement plans are offered.

Qualifications

Eligible to work in the U.S.
Graduate of a school of professional nursing.
Current RN licensure in the State of Arizona.
Current BLS certification.
ACLS & PALS certification within 90 days of employment.
Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
Previous PACU/ICU/ER nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Directs and/or provides professional perianesthesia nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum.
Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care.
Provides supervision and guidance to other members of the PAT/PACU/Pre-operative and Pain Management staff.
May be authorized, in the absence of the PreOp/PACU/PAT Director, to make decisions affecting the PAT/PACU Pre-operative and Pain Management area.
