Responsibilities

• Contributes to department goals and adheres to policies, quality, safety standards
• Collects and analyzes patient information across physical, psychological, socio-cultural, and lifestyle domains
• Provides autonomous, relationship-based nursing care using the nursing process
• Identifies complex patient problems, analyzes trends, and plans interventions
• Incorporates evidence-based practice and research to improve quality and safety
• Advocates for patients and communicates concerns to the team in a timely manner
• Maintains legal nursing practice boundaries and ethical standards
• Educates patients and families, tailoring plans to learning needs
• Communicates patient information clearly in verbal and written form
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment and supports safety initiatives
• Exhibits leadership, sets priorities, and delegates appropriately
