This role requires attendance at institutional meetings and travel as needed, with work performed in a correctional facility setting. The position emphasizes adherence to state guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of employment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing staff, ensuring adherence to licensure scope and policies.
• Review nursing care plans and audits, providing coaching and reporting findings.
• Coordinate patient care across departments and maintain continuity of care.
• Assist in training, orientation, meetings, and maintaining unit cleanliness and safety.
• Identify problems and communicate corrective actions to the Director of Nursing.
