Job summary

The Children’s Home of Reading is seeking a Lead Medical Coordinator (RN) to oversee health services across two program sites in Bethlehem and Doylestown, PA. This full-time role includes supervising medication administration, health screenings, and coordinating with external providers to ensure comprehensive care for youths.

Applicants must hold an RN license and a Bachelor's or higher health qualification, with at least 1 year of relevant public health or clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Must be an RN with a Bachelor’s degree or higher health-related qualification.
• Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania RN licensure required.
• Minimum of 1 year of employment in public health or a healthcare setting with demonstrated care coordination or direct clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health screenings for newly admitted UACs within required timeframes.
• Oversee medication administration and management across both program locations.
• Monitor ongoing medical needs and maintain confidential health records.
• Coordinate with external medical, dental, and public health providers.
• Respond to urgent health concerns and medical emergencies.
• Travel between Bethlehem and Doylestown offices to oversee medical care.
• Provide staff training on medical, dental, and public health topics for pediatric, adolescent, and migrant health.
• Develop and maintain policies for confidential health records, triage, medical emergencies, and health safety.
