Job summary

The Children’s Home of Reading is seeking a Lead Medical Coordinator (RN) to provide medical oversight for the ORR program across Bethlehem and Doylestown. You will lead health screenings, oversee medication administration, maintain confidential health records, and train staff.

Required: RN license with a Bachelor’s or higher health credential and at least 1 year in public health or healthcare; travel between sites; ORR background checks; and a commitment to child welfare. Training is provided.

Qualifications

Must hold an active RN license with a Bachelor's degree or higher health credential.
Minimum 1 year in public health or healthcare with care coordination or clinical care.
Reliable transportation for travel between Bethlehem and Doylestown sites.
Ability to pass ORR background investigations and health screenings.
Commitment to CHOR policies and ORR requirements.

Responsibilities

Conduct health screenings for newly admitted individuals within required timeframes.
Oversee medication administration and management across both program locations.
Maintain confidential health records and triage health concerns.
Coordinate with external medical, dental, and public health providers.
Respond to urgent health concerns and medical emergencies.
Travel between Bethlehem and Doylestown locations for oversight.
