Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Muncie, Indiana is seeking a dedicated RN to join our 185-bed facility. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to maintain high-quality, patient-centered care.

The role emphasizes supervision of nursing staff, accurate documentation, and adherence to federal and state regulations. A strong commitment to dignity, safety, and compassionate care is essential.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (AHA/Red Cross).
• Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with ADLs ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Supervise nursing assistants and medication aides during shifts.
• Monitor residents' status and notify physician of changes.
• Develop and review individualized resident care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per facility policy.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges per procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and staff education.
