Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Muncie is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at a 185-bed facility in Indiana. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and support residents with ADLs while upholding dignity and safety.

Ideal candidates have an active RN license in Indiana, CPR/BLS certification, and at least one year of clinical experience, with preference for long-term care and supervisory experience. EHR familiarity and strong documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license in Indiana or state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience; long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse role preferred.
• Strong clinical observation, medication administration, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and wound care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Supervise and direct nursing assistants and medication aides during shifts per policies.
• Monitor residents’ status and notify physicians of changes.
• Develop and review individualized care plans with the care team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation per facility policy.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges per procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and regulatory surveys.
