Job summary

Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA is seeking a qualified RN PRN for the Labor & Delivery unit to support delivery room operations. You will provide direct patient care, monitor fetal status, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safe deliveries.

The role requires active RN licensure in Georgia, BCLS, and relevant certifications; BSN is preferred but not required. Prior experience in labor and delivery and strong communication are highly valued.

Qualifications

• RN – Associate Degree
• BSN - preferred but not required
• Licensed in good standing with the Georgia Board of Nursing and EKG Course
• BCLS
• Additional certifications may be required: ACLS, PALS, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., etc.
• 1 - 2 years experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Promotes good health and prevents illness
• Educates patients and the public about medical conditions
• Takes part in patient rehabilitation and provides family support
• Monitors patient status and administers medications under doctor supervision
• Supervises licensed practical nurses and technicians if needed
• Read and interpret fetal heart rate tracing and intervene as required
• Performs triage and delivery-related duties per facility policy
