Patient Ratios: 1:4
Number of Beds:14 beds, 2 ORs
Department Specifics: 2,400 Deliveries per year. OB Hospitalist & Anesthesia 24/7, 3-time Magnet Recognized Facility, Outstanding Quality Metrics, Strong ICU/ED collaboration, Perinatal Internship, Community Partnerships, OB Emergency Response Team, Participant, and contributor to Texas AIM.
Shift: PRN Nights; 7pm-7am
Experience required: 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse on Unit is a key player in patient care management, following our nursing practice model. They work with other health care staff to deliver patient care effectively. Our Registered Nurses use the nursing process efficiently. They diagnose patient responses to health issues and create care plans accordingly. It includes evaluating healthcare needs and responses.
