Patient Population: Cardiac and Vascular: CHF, Immediate post-op heart bypass and valves (Cardiac Universal Bed model: Care for Telemetry, PCU, ICU and CV patients)
Patient Ratios : 1:4 (Tele); 1:3 (PCU); 1:2 (ICU); 1:1 (Immediate post-op) or unstable ICY patients connected to specialized devices
Number of Beds: 20 beds
Department Specifics: Skills leveling, Caring for ICU Devices ( Impella , IABP, CRRT, EKOS, lumbar drain); World renown surgeons, magnet hospital, active Unit Based Council.

Job SummaryAs a Seasonal RN, you align with our nursing model, manage patient care, evaluate, recognize, create, implement care plans. Monitor patient progress is also vital. Your knowledge will help patients navigate the healthcare system safely, reducing complications. You will use your expertise to understand patient needs and the healthcare environment.
Essential Functions of the Role- Using good judgment and clinical reasoning, conduct thorough assessments following practice standards.
- Identify patient and family needs, then develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans accordingly. Make adjustments as needed.
- Creating safe, therapeutic environments for patients, families, and staff.
- Managing emotional and physical pain to promote recovery and prevent unnecessary suffering.

Qualifications- Specialized field of study should be nursing.
- 2yr or more of RN experience.
- Cardiovascular experience in PCU & ICU highly preferred.
- RN license.
- Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
