Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery department at St. Francis - Richmond. The RN will perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include safe medication administration, patient teaching, and advocating for patient safety while participating in quality improvement initiatives and following Bon Secours policies.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice required.
• Associate degree in nursing or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred.
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred)
• Experience in patient care and safety in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial and ongoing patient assessment with interdisciplinary care team.
• Creates and updates plan of care; implements treatment.
• Administers medications safely per state practice and policies.
• Coordinates care across hospital departments and serves as care coordination contact.
