Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking an Obstetrics Registered Nurse (RN) for the St. Francis Medical Center in Richmond to deliver exceptional nursing care during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. The role emphasizes triage, prioritization, and collaborative patient-centered care within a women’s health context.

Required: RN licensure with 1 year of RN experience; OB/ED/CC experience desired. EPIC EHR training preferred; BLS required, ACLS/NRP options noted.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS) and NRP preferred within hire period
• One year of professional RN experience; OB/ED/CC preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to deliver obstetric/nurse-led care.
• Provide episodic outpatient and inpatient obstetrical/women’s health nursing care.
• Apply nursing process during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with neonate care.
• Administer medications safely per state practice and policies
