Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Birthplace Unit for full-time night shifts. The department has expanded with 5 new rooms and state-of-the-art equipment designed for family-centered care. Positions require three 12-hour nights per week, with holiday rotation, weekends, and on-call duties.

The RN will perform independent patient care using the nursing process, participate in quality improvement, and adhere to state/federal regulations and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Eligible for or currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Maryland or compact state.
• Associates degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred or plan to obtain within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Assess the biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational and discharge planning of patients according to nursing standards.
• Prioritize treatment and document changes in patient condition; communicate with health care team.
• Develop and implement a plan of care using nursing diagnoses and available resources; monitor patient response.
