Job summary

NKC Health is seeking a registered nurse to support obstetrical patients during antepartum and intrapartum stages, with postpartum and neonatal care responsibilities. The role requires monitoring fetal tracing, managing epidurals, cesarean-related circulation duties, and postpartum recovery.

One year of labor and birth or mother-baby care experience is preferred. Requires Missouri RN license, BLS, NRP within 6 months, ACLS within 1 year, and Fetal Monitoring Certification within 1 year.

Qualifications

Proficient in using standard hospital computer systems.
Ability to monitor obstetrical patients and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

Care for obstetrical patients during antepartum and intrapartum phases.
Monitor fetal/uterine tracing and administer obstetrical medications.
Care for postpartum mother and neonate; provide discharge education.
