Job summary

Adventist Health Ukiah Valley is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse for a 13-week contract in Ukiah, CA. Day shift runs 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM with 36–48 hours per week and pay of $74–$76 per hour.

You will deliver labor, delivery, and recovery care, monitor mother and baby, and participate in newborn care in a Level II nursery. Required credentials include BLS, ACLS, NRP and intermediate fetal monitoring; L&D experience is essential, with postpartum experience preferred and Level II

Responsibilities

• Provide labor, delivery, and recovery nursing care

• Assist in deliveries and postpartum stabilization
• Support newborn care in Level II nursery
• Coordinate care with OB physicians and care team
• Educate and support patients and families
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Setting: 50-bed Acute Care / Level II Nursery / Level IV Trauma Center

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
Hours: 36–48 hrs/week

Pay: $74 – $76/hr
Weekly Gross:

36 hrs/week: $2,664 – $2,736

48 hrs/week: $3,552 – $3,648

Requirements & Credentials
