Job summary

UCHealth seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Labor & Delivery Metro Denver Women and Infants Float Pool. Float Pool RNs will support patients and teams at Highlands Ranch Hospital, Longs Peak Hospital, and University of Colorado Hospital, providing direct patient care within the scope of practice and using the nursing process.

The position is part time, 48.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks), with rotating Days/Nights and onsite only.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• NRP within 6 months of hire.
• BLS/CPR card valid through 60 days after hire date.
• 6 months of Women and Infants RN experience or UCHealth Fellowship completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-of-scope direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.
• Precept new staff and orient teammates to UCHealth competencies.
• Support care across Labor & Delivery and Women and Infants units.
