Job summary

Ascension Health in Nashville, TN is seeking an RN for Labor and Delivery, Full-Time Nights, at Saint Thomas Midtown and Rutherford. You will monitor patient care plans, coordinate nursing orders, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compassionate care.

The role requires current RN licensure in Tennessee, ACLS/BLS per policy, and Neonatal Resuscitation certification. You’ll participate in discharge planning and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Tennessee or multi-state license (Compact) required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or within policy timelines.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans and coordinate nursing orders.
• Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team.
