Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Neonatal ICU nurse for the night, part-time position. You will provide direct nursing care, monitor care plans, and coordinate multidisciplinary care to ensure optimal neonatal outcomes.

Requirements include BLS, STABLE, and Neonatal Resuscitation within specified timelines, plus an RN license or compact-state recognition and a nursing diploma.

Qualifications

• BLS within 1 month of hire.
• STABLE within 6 months of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation (AAP) within 6 months of hire.
• RN license (Tennessee) or compact-state recognition prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per policies and protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans; record and communicate patient status.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care as primary point of contact for the team.
• Process physician and nursing orders and ensure timely execution.
• Assist with discharge planning with the healthcare team.
