Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown, West and Rutherford in Nashville, TN is seeking an OR Float Pool RN to support operating room teams across locations. You will monitor patients, ensure a safe transition from the OR to recovery, and coordinate with surgical staff to maintain efficiency.

The role requires BLS and PALS within 30 days of hire, and an active Tennessee RN license with a nursing diploma. Flexibility in schedule and weekly availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS and PALS within 30 days of hire or transfer date.
• RN licensure from Tennessee Board of Nursing prior to hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and communicate patient condition with clinical precision during transitions in recovery.
• Maintain sterile field integrity and optimize equipment and supply management.
• Lead OR operations and prepare cutting-edge technology and supplies for procedures.
