Methodist Healthcare in Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery to deliver quality maternity care using the nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, while collaborating with the healthcare team to promote positive outcomes.

The role includes floating to System Resource pools with defined minimums, requiring Texas RN licensure and BLS. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth within HCA Healthcare.

Formación

• Graduates of a nursing program (diploma, associate degree, or baccalaureate).
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience with at least 1 year in a specialty area when floating.
• Texas RN license to practice; Active MultiState RN Compact License; license must be obtained in Texas within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and individualize patient goals. Develop and modify the plan of care accordingly.
• Complete assessments of patient responses and educational needs; involve family as appropriate.
• Provide patient education aligned with patient understanding using available resources.
• Administer medications and treatments safely; report errors and unusual occurrences.
• Recognize and respond to crisis situations and notify the appropriate individuals.
• Document symptoms, responses, and progress in the chart.
