Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide obstetric nursing care in an in-office John Day, OR setting. You will monitor labor and delivery, interpret fetal data, administer interventions, and document in the EHR.

The role requires L&D certification or eligible, 2–4 years in high-acuity obstetric care, strong fetal monitoring skills, and the ability to lead emergencies.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with state obstetric/gynecology privileges and current licensure.
• Valid RN license with Labor & Delivery or perinatal specialty certification (e.g., CNL, CNML).
• Minimum 2–4 years of labor and delivery nursing experience in a high-acuity setting.
• Proficiency in fetal monitoring interpretation and escalation per protocol.
• Ability to lead emergency obstetric interventions and rapid decision-making.
• Strong EHR documentation skills; experience with hospital information systems (e.g., Epic).
• Infection control compliance and patient safety certification (e.g., ACLS, PALS as applicable).
• Performance-driven mindset with data-driven approach to meet unit targets and metrics.
• BSN preferred; ADN considered with acute L&D experience plus demonstrated growth.
• Ability to mentor, onboard new staff, and contribute to professional development.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, and postnatal care.
• Maintain safety and infection control standards in line with hospital policies.
• Analyze unit metrics and contribute to process improvements to meet targets.
• Assess and manage pain with safe, evidence-based strategies.
• Mentor and onboard new staff, supporting professional development goals.
