Equiliem is seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Nurse to support expectant mothers through childbirth. The role emphasizes clinical excellence, compassionate care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a busy NJ setting.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in Labor and Delivery, NJ RN license, and BLS/ACLS/NRP credentials, with strong communication and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current NJ RN or Compact License.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
• Completion of Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) within the last 3 years.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and progress of mothers and babies during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and assist with pain management as needed.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe delivery.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
• Respond to emergency situations with efficiency and expertise.
