Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery (L&D)

Location: Washington, DC 20037

Shift: 3 x 12s rotation AM/PM

Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)

Requirements

• BLS & ACLS - Required
• NRP - Required
• AWHONN - Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring - Required
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - Required
• L&D Experience - Required: 2 Years
• Cerner Experience - Required

Patient population includes females of childbearing years, pregnant 17 weeks gestation, laboring, scheduled procedures (C‑sections, external cephalic versions, cerclage – we try not to do these on the unit), and triage issues. Activities on the unit include admissions, discharges, transfers, pre‑op, and deliveries (vaginal and C/S). Common equipment used in Labor and Delivery includes fetal monitors, Cerner, and Fetalink documentation.
