Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced RN for Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Danbury, CT. This role demands expertise in high-risk obstetrics, EFM interpretation, and the ability to float to maternity, pediatrics, and NICU as needed.

The position requires 2+ years of current L&D experience, an active State Nursing License, and certifications in NRP, ACLS, and BLS. NCC C-EFM is preferred within the first year of assignment.

Qualifications

• Active State Nursing License required.
• NRP, ACLS, BLS certifications are required.
• NCC C-EFM must be obtained within one year of first assignment.
• AWHONN Intermediate fetal monitoring required.

Responsibilities

• Intermittent Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) is required.
• Interpretation of fetal heart rate tracings (Categories I-III) is essential.
• Management of spontaneous vaginal deliveries and assisted births is part of the role.
• High-risk labor management including IUGR, preeclampsia, and gestational diabetes is expected.
• Induction and augmentation of labor using Pitocin protocols and cervical ripening agents will be performed.
• Amnioinfusion procedures may be necessary.
• C-section circulation responsibilities are included.
• Floating to maternity, pediatrics, and NICU if needed is expected.
• Strong preference for candidates with C-EFM certification from day one.
